Pacquiao stops Hatton in second round

Pacquiao (49-3-2, 37 knockouts) put Hatton (45-2, 32 KOs) twice in the first round, the first by a right hook and the second by a left. In the second round, Pacquiao, obviously the much quicker and more-talented of the two, outscored Hatton. However, the punch that ended it seemed to come out of nowhere. Pacquiao simply saw an opening, his left hand flew through the air, landed on Hatton's chin and that was that. Hatton, out before he hit the ground, landed flat on his back and didn't move for several minutes. Pacquiao has now won 10 consecutive fights against some of the best fighters in the world. |
