Judah, Casamayor notch wins

Former welterweight champ Zab Judah (38-6, 26 KOs) blasted journeyman Ubaldo Hernandez (22-20-2, 10 KOs) in two rounds in the main event of stacked card at the Palms Casino in Las Vegas on Friday.

After dropping Hernandez with a body shot in round one Judah overwhelmed the Mexican veteran at the start of the second round.

In the co-featured bout, former lightweight champ Joel Casamayor (37-4-1, 22 KOs) outboxed Jason Davis (11-5-1, 3 KOs) to an eight-round unanimous decision in a welterweight bout. Casamayor, who was a sluggish 146 pounds, won by unanimous scores of 79-73. The 38-year-old vet had not fought since losing his RING lightweight title to Juan Manuel Marquez last September.
