The partnership increases the possibility of numerous attractive 140-pound showdowns for the 23-year-old Khan (22-1, 16 knockouts) as Golden Boy is the U.S. representative of former junior welterweight champ Ricky Hatton, and the promoter of former titleholder Vivian Harris, young standouts Victor Ortiz and Lucas Matthysse, and former lightweight titleholder Nate Campbell, who is now campaigning in the 140-pound division.
