LAS VEGAS -- Juan Manuel Marquez on Friday weighed in at 133 1/2 pounds for his rematch against Juan Diaz on Saturday at Mandalay Bay on HBO Pay-per-view.

That's 8 1/2 pounds lighter than his fight against Floyd Mayweather Jr. in September, a welterweight matchup Marquez lost by a one-sided decision.

It's also the lightest Marquez has been since he met Manny Pacquiao at 130 in 2008. Marquez weighed 134 1/4 in the first Diaz fight, in February of last year.

Diaz weighed in at the 135-pound lightweight limit. The Houstonian weighed 137 1/4 and 138 1/2 for his fights against Paulie Malignaggi at junior welterweight.
