The contract Tomasz Adamek signed Monday evening, which granted him a shot at the title, included the signatures of both Klitschko brothers, however, it is

younger brother, Wladimir, who holds the RING, WBO and IBF titles, that the heavyweight contend

er from Poland will likely face in his home country sometime in September, according to Przemek Garczarczyk.

"The only way Tomasz doesn't face Wladimir Klitschko is if Wladimir loses his next fight, if that were to happen, he would face Vitali," said Garczarczyk, a Chicago-based Polish journhalist who is close to the Adamek camp.

Wladimir Klitschko (55-3, 49 knockouts) faces untested British prosepct Dereck Chisora (14-0, 9 KOs) on April 30 in Germany. Vitali Klitschko (41-2, 38 KOs), who holds the WBC title, defends his belt against 2004 Olympic gold medalist Odlanier Solis (17-0, 12 KOs) on March 12 in Germany.

"If both Klitschko brothers win, which we all expect to happen, Tomasz will face Wladimir," said Garczarczyk.

Adamek must win an interim fight himself in order to get his heavyweight title shot, which will take place in a newly built soccer stadium in either Warsaw or Wroclaw on one of the first three Saturdays of September.

It was originally thought that Adamek's tune-up fight, which will take place in April, would happen in Poland but his promoters (Main Events and Ziggy Promotions) are now looking for a venue on the U.S. East Coast for the bout.

Whether or not the April bout lands at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J., where Adamek routinely draws 6,000-10,000 fans, depends on if the New Jersey Devils, who play at the same venue, make NHL playoffs, according to Garczarczyk.

Adamek does not have an opponent for the April date, but one will be announced in the next two days.
