Bradley retains his No. 1 position following his technical decision over Alexander (No. 3 last week), who slips to No. 4. Trading places with Alexander is Marcos Maidana (No. 4 last week).
Takashi Uchiyama (No. 4 last week) advances to No. 3 following his knockout of Tasashi Miura. Uchiyama’s advancement pushes down Roman Martinez (No. 3 last week) to No. 4.
Previously unranked Akifumi Shimoda crashes the ratings at No. 2 on the strength of his 12-round decision over Ryol Li Lee (No. 2 last week). Lee falls to No. 3, which pushes down all fighters rated below him last week one slot each and forces out Rendell Munroe (No. 10 last week). Nehomar Cermeno (No. 7 last week) exits to fight in the junior featherweight division, in which he lost to Victor Terrazas. Cermeno’s departure boosts up everybody ranked No. 7 or below last week one spot each and allows Malcolm Tunacao to enter at No. 10. |
