altThe three-city media tour to promote the May 7 Manny Pacquiao-Shane Mosley welterweight fight is scheduled for this week and next.

Let the hype begin.

The three-city media tour to promote the May 7 Manny Pacquiao-Shane Mosley fight begins Thursday in Beverly Hills, Calif., moves on to Las Vegas (the site of the fight) on Saturday and concludes on Monday in New York City.

The news conferences in Las Vegas, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, and Chelsea Piers in New York are open to the public.

Pacquiao is riding a 13-fight winning streak that goes back to 2005, a period in which he has become the top fighter in the world.

The Filipino congressman  is coming off a one-sided beating of Antonio Margarito in November.

Mosley has not won a fight since he stopped Margarito in 2009, losing to Floyd Mayweather Jr. and drawing with Sergio Mora since, but remains one of the sport’s biggest names.
