Anaheim Blvd. Alvarez (35-0-1, 26 knockouts) faces Matthew Hatton (41-4-2, 16 KOs) for the vacant WBC junior middleweight title Saturday at the Honda Center in Anaheim. Hatton is the brother of Ricky Hatton, the former four-time titleholder from Manchester, England. Alvarez and Hatton, the European welterweight champion, are both fighting for a major title for the first time. |
