Baltimore Ravens safety Tommy Zbikowski stopped Richard Bryant at 1:45 of the first round of a scheduled four-round heavyweight bout on the Miguel Cotto-Ricardo Mayorga undercard Saturday in Las Vegas.

The fight was sloppy until Zbikowski (2-0, 2) ended it with a single left to the flabby body of Bryant, who fell awkwardly to the canvas and was unable to continue.

Zbikowski hadn’t fought since he stopped Robert Bell in one round in June 2006, after which he devoted himself to his NFL career.

He weighed in at 193 pounds, only three pounds over the cuiserweight limit.

Bryant (1-3) is a 35-year-old from London, Ky.
