Pacquiao, other Filipino fighters to be honored at annual Elorde banquet

Manny Pacquiao, Nonito Donaire, Donnie Nietes and Ana Julaton will be honored at the 11th Gabriel "Flash" Elorde Memorial Boxing Awards Banquet in Manila.

Forty world and international titleholders are expected to be on hand Friday to honor Manny Pacquiao. Nonito Donaire, Donnie Nietesand Ana Julaton at the 11th Gabriel "Flash" Elorde Memorial Boxing Awards Banquet of Champions in the Grand Ballroomof the Sofitel Philippine Plaza Hotel in Manila.

Pacquiao, the guest of honor, also will serve as guest speaker for the event, which will honor Donaire, Nietes and Julaton as "Boxers of the Year" in the Philippines.

Titleholders on the guest list include five from each weight class from strawweight to junior featherweight, two each from featherweight to super lightweight and 15 Philippine champions.
