Roy Jones Jr. will face Denis Lebedev of Russia in a 10-round cruiserweight fight May 22 in Moscow, according to Sqaure Ring, Jones’ promotional company.
A Saturday press conference is in the works for smack-talkers Adrien Broner and Paulie Malignaggi.

Roy Jones Jr. will face Denis Lebedev of Russia in a 10-round cruiserweight fight May 22 in Moscow, according to Sqaure Ring, Jones’ promotional company. Jones (54-7, 40 knockouts) reportedly will receive a guaranteed purse of $500,000. The former four-division titleholder has lost his last two fights, a first-round TKO against Danny Green in December 2009 and a unanimous decision to Bernard Hopkins last April. The only defeat on the record of Lebedev (21-1, 16 KOs) is a split decision to 200-pound titleholder Marco Huck last December. The fight will take place at Moscow's Sportkomplex Olimpiiskii.
