Alexander Dimitrenko ended a hard-fought heavyweight fight with a massive right uppercut that flattened Albert Sosnowski in the 12th round of their bout at Universum Gym in Hamburg, Germany.

Alexander Dimitrenko ended a hard-fought heavyweight fight with a massive right uppercut that flattened Albert Sosnowski in the 12th round of their bout at Universum Gym in Hamburg, Germany.

Sosnowski (46-4-1, 28 knockouts), competitive throughout the contest, stayed on the canvas for several minutes after the knockout but left the ring under his own power. The official time was 1:28.

Dimitrenko (31-1, 21 KOs) holds the European heavyweight title.
