Mikey Garcia stopped Matt Remillard after the 10th round in a battle of undefeated featherweight prospects on the Yuriorkis Gamboa-Jorge Solis card Saturday in Atlantic City, N.J. Garcia (25-0, 21 knockouts) put Remillard down three times, twice in the ninth and once in the 10th. Remillard (23-1, 13 KOs) was able to get up each time but had taken too much of a beating by the end. His corner stopped the fight before the 11th round. |
