Former junior welterweight beltholder Kendall Holt and former two-time lightweight titleholder Julio Diaz are set to headline the May 13 edition of ESPN2's Friday Night Fights series.
A Saturday press conference is in the works for smack-talkers Adrien Broner and Paulie Malignaggi.

Former titleholders Kendall Holt and Julio Diaz will collide on the May 13 edition of ESPN2's Friday Night Fights, a broadcast to originate from Santa Ynez, Calif. Holt (26-4, 14 knockouts) once held the WBO light welterweight crown, while Diaz (38-6, 27 KOs) is a former IBF lightweight champion. Both are known for aggression and explosiveness, which could produce a fan-friendly fight. In the televised eight-round co-main, unbeaten Jonathan Gonzalez (12-0, 12 KOs) will tangle with Chicago power puncher Rudy Cisneros (12-2, 11 KOs).
