Paulie Malignaggi thoroughly outboxed Jose Miguel Cotto to win a one-sided decision in a 10-round welterweight fight on the Marcos Maidana-Erik Morales undercard Saturday in Las Vegas.

Cotto simply couldn’t compete with the skills and work rate of Malignaggi, who seems to have retained his speed at 147 pounds.

Malignaggi (29-4, 6 knockouts) won by scores of 99-91, 99-91 and 97-93.

The Brooklynite has now won two consecutive fights since he was stopped by Amir Khan in May of last year.

Cotto (32-3-1, 24 KOs) is the older brother of Miguel Cotto.
