Lightweight titleholder Humberto Soto is considering pulling out of his anticipated rematch with Urbano Antillon on the Manny Pacquiao-Shane Mosley undercard on May 7, according to internet reports.

Humberto Soto, the WBC lightweight beltholder who is scheduled to fight Urbano Antillon on the Manny Pacquiao-Shane Mosley undercard on May 7, has declared himself a free agent and may pull out of the anticipated rematch, according to reports on Boxingscene.com.

Soto, who has been promoted by Top Rank for many years, is rumored to be looking for a new promoter and has no intention to go through with the rematch with Antillon, who engaged the skilled Mexican veteran in a 12-round fight of the year candidate last December.

Soto (55-7-2, 32 knockouts) beat Antillon via narrow unanimous decision. The rematch, which is scheduled to be a part of the Pacquiao-Mosley Showtime Pay-Per-View broadcast, has been heavily anticipated by hardcore fight fans.
