Former world heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield stopped Brian Nielsen at 2:49 of the 11th round of a heavyweight bout Saturday in Copenhagen, Denmark. Holyfield (44-10-2, 29 knockouts) sent Nielsen (64-3, 43 KOs) to the canvas in the third round and broke him down before stopping him with a barrage of punches. Holyfield, 48, was sharper and more aggressive than the 46-year-old Nielsen, who was fighting for the first time in eight years.
