Juergen Braehmer’s light heavyweight title defense against Nathan Cleverly, scheduled for Saturday in London, was called off because Braehmer suffered a cut near his eye in training, according to several reports. Braehmer reportedly suffered the cut on May 8 and it didn’t heal quickly enough for him to fight. Cleverly apparently will fight unbeaten Tony Bellow at the O2 Arena on Saturday. |
