Middleweight fringe contender Andy Lee out-boxed faded veteran Alex Bunema to a shut-out 10-round unanimous decision on Wednesday in Rosemont, Ill.

Middleweight standout Andy Lee scored a 10-round decision over former junior middleweight contender Alex Bunema in the main event of a card held at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Ill., on Wednesday.

Lee (26-1, 19 KOs), a fringe contender from Ireland who lives and trains with Emanuel Steward in Detroit, shut Benema out on all three scorecards. The 26-year-old southpaw is coming off a 10th-round stoppage of previous undefeated Craig McEwan in March. The Bunema fight was Lee's 10th consecutive victory since suffering his only loss, a seventh-round stoppage to Bryan Vera in March of 2008.

Bunema (31-8-2, 17 KOs), a Tennessee-based native of the Congo, had been inactive since dropping a close split-decision to Willie Lee in August of 2009.
