UK authorities won't order Groves-DeGale rematch
|
The British Boxing Board of Control has dismissed the idea of ordering a rematch between British super middleweights George Groves and James DeGale as “out of the question.” Both DeGale and his manager, Frank Warren, had called upon the UK governing body to intervene after Groves won Saturday's British and Commonwealth title clash by a narrow decision. But, according to Board secretary, Robert Smith, there is no justifiable reason for anybody to be demanding a second bout.
