Rios-Antillon finalized for July 9

The lightweight showdown between titleholder Brandon Rios and top contender Urbano Antillon will take place on July 9 in Carson, Calif. Showtime will televise the anticipated fight.

Unbeaten lightweight titleholder Brandon Rios will make the first defense of his WBA belt when he takes on top-five contender Urbano Antillon, Saturday, July 9, at The Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif., it was recently announced by Showtime, which will air the anticipated bout.

The co-main event will feature former welterweight titleholder and current 154-pound contender Kermit Cintron and Carlos Molina in a 10-round junior middleweight fight. Both bouts will be televised live on Showtime, beginning at 10 p.m. ET/PT (delayed on the West Coast.)
