Former super middleweight titleholder Mikkel Kessler stopped Mehdi Bouadla of France at 2:25 of the sixth round of a scheduled 12-round bout in Copenhagen, Denmark, Kessler's home country.

Former super middleweight titleholder Mikkel Kessler stopped Mehdi Bouadla of France at 2:25 of the sixth round of a scheduled 12-round bout in Copenhagen, Denmark, Kessler's home country.

Kessler (44-2, 33 knockouts) won the first five rounds on all three cards. He was coming back from an eye injury that forced him to pull out of the Super Six World Boxing Classic. He hadn't fought in more than a year.

Bouadla (22-4, 10 KOs) hadn't lost since 2008.
