altMichael Katsidis' fierce body blows floored Michael Losada for the 10-count on Saturday, ending the Australian's losing streak at two before his local fans

Australian junior welterweight Michael Katsidis stopped Michael Lozada of Mexico at 2 minutes, 18 seconds of the third round on Saturday before a partisan crowd at Gold Coast Convention Centre in Broadbeach, Queensland.

Katsidis (28-4, 23 knockouts) was coming off consecutive title-bout losses to Juan Manuel Marquez and Robert Guerrero, respectively.

Losada (38-9-1, 30 KOs) lost for the third time in his past five fights, failing to rise from a savage body attack and being counted out by referee Adrian Cairns.
