Middleweight beltholder Peter Quillin could soon defend his WBO title against promotional stablemate Danny Jacobs.
Video: post-fight interview with Adrien Broner
RingTV's Bill Emes spoke to Adrien Broner following the undefeated junior lightweight's third-round KO of Martin Rodriguez, which earned him the vacant WBO title and high expectations going into 2012.
Broner says fans better have ear plugs and sun glasses ready because he's going to make "a lot of noise" and "shine" next year. The 22-year-old titleholder, who destroyed Martin in front of his hometown fans in Cincinnati, Ohio, as well as an HBO audience, is targeting undefeated featherweight standout Yuriorkis Gamboa.
Broner said Gamboa would be "easy work."
