Abner Mares looked ready for his Dec. 3 rematch with Joseph Agbeko at a recent media workout. The bantamweight titleholder wants to put his doubters and the controversy of the first bout to rest with a strong victory.

Abner Mares says he's ready to silence his critics by defeating Joseph Agbeko again -- this time without controversy -- in their Showtime-televised rematch on Dec. 3. The IBF banatmweight titleholder says he wants to "test himself" against the likes of Nonito Donaire and Jorge Arce in 2012.
