Tim Bradley has a message for Lamont Peterson: "Come on, and you can get it again."

Rated No. 8 in THE RING's pound-for-pound list, the 28-year-old WBO junior welterweight behtolder is referring to his unanimous decision victory over Peterson (30-1-1, 15 knockouts) in December of 2009.

The 27-year-old Peterson is still savoring Saturday night's upset victory over Amir Khan (26-2, 18 KOs), which earned him the WBA and IBF belts.

With the win, Peterson improved to 3-0-1 with two knockouts since losing to Bradley, ending Khan's winning streak at eight bouts.

"I think that he needs to leave Amir alone for a while and let him whine a little bit and let him feel it, because you know Amir don't give nobody a rematch," said Bradley (28-0, 12 KOs). "I think that Lamont Peterson should come and see Tim Bradley, man, and get some revenge. That sounds good to me."

Since losing to Bradley, who dropped him in the third round, Peterson rose from two third-round knockdowns to salvage a draw with Victor Ortiz (28-3-2, 22 KOs) in a 10-round bout last December, and then earned a 12th-round stoppage of Victor Cayo (26-2, 18 KOs) in July.

Bradley, meanwhile, has won three straight, comprised of decisions over welterweight Luis Carlos Abregu and RING No. 4-rated junior welterweight Devon Alexander (22-1, 13 KOs), as well as an eighth-round knockout of former four-time titleholder Joel Casamayor.

Bradley dethroned Alexander as WBC junior welterweight beltholder by 11th-round technical decision, adding that crown to the WBO title that he already owned.
