Tim Smith, New York Daily News

Andre Ward W 12 Carl Froch:
I'm taking Andre Ward, because I do think that there is something special about him.
I think as a result of fighting in the Super Six, he really has grown into his own as a boxer and he really takes his time now.

He's very patient, and he doesn't rush. He can't be rushed. He handles every situation that is thrown at him. I think that Froch is just such a pressure kind of fighter and I think he's like silent assassin.

He sort of waits for his opportunity. But I don't think that he will be able to wait Ward out, because Ward is also patient. So I can see a fight where Ward wins a very affirmative decision that is clearlhy won.

Froch's danger is that he just wears guys down. I think that Ward's in great shape, so I don't think that he's going to wear down. I think that it will be a great fight, but I'll pick Ward by decision.

Bob Velin, USA Today

Andre Ward-Carl Froch: I'm going to go with Andre Ward on a decision. I think that Ward's a better fighter than a lot of people give him credit for. Carl Froch, I think he's a great puncher and he can take a punch, but I do think that Ward's going to out-box him and win a decision.

The experts favor Andre Ward, 21-3, to  unify the belts by defeating Carl Froch.
