RingTV.com: Mayweather-Cotto?

GP: This third candidate that you mentioned, of course, I think that that would be a huge fight. Two pay per view fighters with no B-side, all A-side.

I think that that would be a huge attraction in the United States, pay per view-wise and internationally. I think that it would do fantastic. I think that all three of the fights are very attractive for Miguel Cotto.

RingTV.com: Can you discuss your working relationship with Golden Boy?

GP: Very good relationship. Miguel's promotional company, Miguel Cotto Promotions, has had a solid alliance with Golden Boy over the past couple of years in doing shows together as co-promoters in Puerto Rico.  As part of the Solo Boxeo Tecate Television series on Univision.

We've done in the past couple of years maybe 15 shows together. Frequently, they've showcased their Puerto Rican talent on our shows on the island. And we've dealt with them as well. We've dealt with all of their guys, from the matchmakers to the Richard Schaefer and everybody. We have a very good relationship.

RingTV.com: Can you elaborate on your working relationship with Top Rank?

GP: It is accurate to say that Miguel is a free agent, but that does not necessarily mean that we've ended a relationship with Top Rank as far as any other fights that we're going to do. We have an excellent working relationship with them, and again there's nothing negative about it.

It's business. But for sure, we welcome the opportunity to fight another Top Rank fighter. We'll see. Based on that decision between Mayweather and Pacquiao, we'll know what we're going to do.
