Peterson-Khan II press tour begins next week

altLamont Peterson and Amir Khan will begin their three-city press tour next week, visiting London, Washington, D.C., and Los Angeles.

IBF/WBA junior welterweight beltholder Lamont Peterson and Amir Khan will begin their three-city press tour next week announcing their rematch on May 19 at the Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas.

The first fight took place in December in Washington, D.C., and ended with hometown-fan favorite Peterson (30-1-1, 15 knockouts) scoring a disputed split-decision over Khan (26-2, 18 KOs) to take his belts.

Stops for the Peterson-Khan II promotion will include London on Tuesday, March 13, Washington, D.C. on Thursday, March 15, and will conclude in Los Angeles on Monday, March 19.
