RingTV.com staff writer Ryan Songalia attended the 87th anual awards dinner of Boxing Writer Association of America in New York City last week, where he conducted interviews and captured WBC heavyweight titleholder Vitali Klitschko's acceptance speech.

Klitschko and his brother, RING heavyweight champ Wladimir Klitschko, received the BWAA’s James A. Farley Award for "Honesty and Integrity in Boxing."

Songalia caught up with undefeated middleweight contender Peter Quillin, who recently defeated Winky Wright and says he now looks forward to challenging the top 160-pound fighters.

Songalia also spoke to former junior middleweight contender Pawel Wolak, who received, along with Delvin Rodriguez, the BWAA's Ali–Frazier Award for Fight of the Year. Wolak has retired from boxing but plans to compete in MMA.
