THE RING's No. 3-rated junior lightweight Adrien Broner will be feaured on HBO's "2 Days" on July 7 in advance of the July 21 defense of his WBO crown against Vicente Escobedo at U.S. Bank Arena in Broner's hometown of Cincinnati.

"2 Days: Adrien Broner" will be aired at midnight following an HBO-televised double-header from the Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif., featuring former undisputed middleweight titleholder Kelly Pavlik (39-2, 34 knockouts) opposite Will Rosinsky (16-1, 9 KOs), and WBO counterpart Nonito Donaire (28-1, 18 KOs) in a unification fight with IBF beltholder Jeffrey Mathebula (26-3-2, 14 KOs).

"2 Days: Adrien Broner" covers a 48-hour span in the life of Broner  (23-0, 19 KOs), who turns 23 on July 28 and is often compared, style-wise, to Floyd Mayweather Jr., holder of the WBC's welterweight and WBA's junior middleweight belts.

Broner's antics have included being rapper, "AJ Da Problem" in Youtube videos, an elaborate ring entrance during which he sang his own song prior to his last bout, and having his father brush his hair in the ring after fights.

Reached on his celular phone on Monday while working out at Bally's in Cincinnati, Broner offered a preview of the the "2 Days" segment during a conversation with  RingTV.com.

"Chances are that I'm going to finish this workout while I'm doing this interview. I'm on the treadmill right now at 6.5 miles, and I can finish this interview. And do you know why? Because I'm in shape I'm always going to be the guy that's in shape," said Broner, who is coming off an HBO televised fourth-round stoppage of previously unbeaten Eloy Perez (23-1-2, 7 KOs) in February.

"In that documentary, you're going to see a lot of swag, and it's going to show you the inside of Adrien Broner. A lot of peopld don't know Adrien Broner. They just know the way that I bring myself into the ring. But on '2 Days,'  you're going to learn about Adrien Broner, the Band Camp [his rap group,] and it's going to be great."

Escobedo (26-3, 15 KOs) was last in the ring in May for a unanimous decision over Juan Ruiz in Escobedo’s hometown of Woodland, Calif.
