The public is invited to the Tuesday press conference at Placita Olvera-Father Sera Park in Los Angeles announcing the Sept. 15 Showtime Championship Boxing show headlined by the Saul Alvarez-Josesito Lopez WBC 154-pound title bout.

The public is invited to the Tuesday press conference at Placita Olvera-Father Sera Park in Los Angeles announcing the Sept. 15 Showtime Championship Boxing show headlined by the Saul Alvarez-Josesito Lopez WBC 154-pound title bout.

The outdoor event begins at 12:00 p.m. with the press conference scheduled to start at 1:00 p.m. Joining Alvarez (40-0-1, 29 knockouts) and Lopez (30-4, 18 KOs) are WBC featherweight titleholder Jhonny Gonzalez and former 122-pound beltholder Daniel Ponce de Leon, who will fight in the co-featured bout of the Golden Boy Promotions card at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

A third bout to the "Knockout Kings" card will be announced during the press conference, which will be presided over by Golden Boy Promotions president Oscar De La Hoya.

Placita Olvera-Father Sera Park (Los Angeles 90012) is located at Alameda Street and Los Angeles Street (across from Union Station).
