Video: Trainer Yankello says Spadafora ready for the best
|
Paul Spadafora's trainer Tom Yankello says the unbeaten former lightweight titleholder is ready for the best 140- and 147-pound boxers in the world after the 36-year-old veteran dominated jounreyman Humberto Toledo to an eight-round unanimous decision on Aug. 18. Yankello also says Roy Jones Jr., who he's been working with, wants to retire in order to contrate on guiding Spadafora's still-promising career. [Editor's note: Videographer Bill Emes, who shot the Yankello video, also interviewed Jones, who said that he still wants to win a cruiserweight title before he retires. Jones is now involved with promoting Spadafora.]
