American heavyweight hopeful Bryant Jennings will take on Chris Koval on the Tomasz Adamek-Travis Walker Main Events card on September 8 at the Prudential Center, in Newark, New Jersey.

Koval, 25-9 (18), has lost five of his last six fights. Jennings is 14-0 (6) and considered by many to be the American heavyweight to watch.

“I like what’s happening now,” Jennings said. “Everything is going well. I want to be the next American heavyweight people look at to fight the Klitschkos, and I definitely want to catch them before they roll. After they leave, it’s going to be up for grabs. I’m knocking at the door. I want to get in. I don’t look at Koval as a tune-up fight. I want to stay busy.”
