Heavyweight contender Tomasz Adamek is likely to fight Odlanier Solis in the Dec. 22 main event of NBC Sports Network's Fight Night, should Solis win his Oct. 12 tune-up against Leif Larsen and come through with not cuts or injuries, sources tell RingTV.

The 2004 Olympic Gold Medalist from Cuba fought WBC titleholder Vitali Klitschko last March but was stopped in the first round after suffering tears to his ACL and external meniscus, as well as cartilage damaged to his right knee. Solis (18-1, 12 knockouts) has fought just once since then after rehab and surgery, a 12-round unanimous decision over Konstantin Airich in May of 2012.

Adamek (47-2, 29 KOs) is coming off a fifth round stoppage of Travis Walker earlier this month.
