RingTV.com readers are evenly split on how they believe Saturday's anticipated junior welterweight showdown between Brandon Rios and Mike Alvarado will turn out, according to a poll by the website.

One thing the majority of 2,000 voters could agree on is that the HBO-televised brawl from the Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif., will end in a knockout.

Alvarado edged Rios in this department by the slimest of margins as 35.2 percent of the voters picked the undefeated contneder from Colorado to win by KO. Almost the same percentage, 35.1, picked Rios, a former lightweight titleholder based in Oxnard, Calif., to win by KO.

A slight majority who think the fight will go the full 10 rounds it's scheduled for favored Alvarado, who garnered 13.8 percent, to win by decision; while 12.4 percent believe Rios will win on points.

A draw verdict only recieved 3.4 votes.
