CARSON, Calif. -- Brandon Rios stopped Mike Alvarado at 1:57 of the seventh round in a fight that lived up the hype on the Nonito Donaire-Toshiaki Nishioka card Saturday at the Home Depot Center. Alvarado appeared to be winning on the cards at the time of the stoppage. A full report will follow.
