PICK TWO FINGERS: Former heavyweight champ Max Baer (right) picked on the wrong fella this time. That's Jerome Horwitz, better known as Curly Howard of Three Stooges, wrapped around one of the sport's most-feared punchers. The gag photo was taken on the MGM lot in Hollywood, Calif., we guess in the mid- to late-1930s. Baer, a born ham, gravitated into the entertainment business after his boxing career.
