Marcos Maidana may fight fellow puncher Selcuk Aydin early next year, Golden Boy Promotions' Robert Diaz told RingTV.com. Maidana (32-3, 29 knockouts) lost his welterweight debut to Devon Alexander in a virtual shutout, but bounced back with a knockout of Jesus Soto Karass on Sept. 15. Aydin (23-1, 17 knockouts) lost to Robert Guerrero on Showtime in July by unanimous decision, but is still considered one of the biggest punchers in the division.
