The top two fighters that fans want newly crowned WBC lightweight titleholder Adrien Broner to fight next are unbeaten 140-pound contender Brandon Rios and RING junior welterweight champ Danny Garcia, according to a RingTV.com poll. Rios, a strong and aggressive former lightweight beltholder who loves to battle, received 28.4 percent of the 6,500 votes that were distributed among seven candidates for Broner to fight. Garcia, an undefeated boxer-puncher who holds the WBA and WBC 140-pound titles as well THE RING's championship recognition, received 24.2 percent of the votes. WBO lightweight titleholder ricky Burns (13.3%), top junior welterweight contender Lucas Matthysse (11.9%) and Mexican legend Juan Manuel Marquez (11.1%) were the next highest vote getters. |
