Berto, Guerrero make weight for welterweight showdown

Former two-time welterweight titleholder Andre Berto weighed less than a half a pound more than former featherweight beltholder Robert Guerrero at the Friday weigh-in for their HBO-televised fight at the Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, Calif., tomorrow night. Berto weighed 146.8 pounds at the weigh-in held at the Dave & Buster's at Ontario Mills; Guerrero, who also held a major title at 130 pounds, weighed 146.4.

Former welterweight beltholder Carlos Quintana, who now campaigns at junior middleweight, and undefeated KO artist Keith Thurman also made weight for their 152-pound catchweight co-feature, which will open the HBO Championship Boxing broadcast.

Quintana weighed in at the contracted limit of 152 pounds. Thurman weighed 151.2 pounds.
