Narvaez set to defend against 20 year old

Junior bantamweight titleholder Omar Narvaez will put his unbeaten record and WBO belt on the line June 11 against Juan Carlos Sanchez, a once-beaten Mexican prospect with just 14 pro fights.

Narvaez (34-0-2, 19 knockouts) and Sanchez (12-1-1, 7 KOs) will meet at Luna Park in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in the third defense of Narvaez's 115-pound crown. The 35-year-old Argentine made 16 successful defenses of his world flyweight crown, which he held for nearly eight years before moving up in weight in 2010.

Sanchez, a 20-year-old southpaw, has won five straight since suffering the only loss of his career in February 2010 to a 4-0 fighter. His most recent outing was an eight-round unanimous decision over Juan Francisco Estrada, who was 18-0.
