Ramon Valadez and Jamie Kavanagh will be featured in separate bouts on the June 23 Fight Night Club card at Club Nokia in downtown Los Angeles.
Valadez, a favorite among local fans, will headline the show for the first time in a six-round junior lightweight bout. Kavanagh, a former Irish amateur star, will be co-featured in a six-round lightweight bout. Neither fighter has an opponent yet.
Valdez (8-1, 4 knockouts) lost his second pro fight, an unforgettable four-round war with Oscar Andrade, but has won seven straight since.
Kavanagh (6-0, 2 KOs) has won three one-sided decisions in the Fight Night Club series.
The card will be televised live on Fox Sports Net and its regional affiliates and streamed live on RingTV.com at 8 p.m. PT / 11 p.m. ET. Doors open at 6 p.m. PT. The first bell rings at 7 p.m.
The event will be hosted by HOT 92.3's Jimmy Reyes.
