Light heavyweight champion Bernard Hopkins will be honored Wednesday by Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter for his historic victory over Jean Pascal.
Hopkins became the oldest man ever to win a major title when he outpointed the Canadian on May 21 in Montreal.
The event will take place at noon ET at The Rocky Statue at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, which is at 26th Street and Benjamin Franklin Parkway.
It is open to the public. Fans are encouraged to arrive early.
