Chavez, Lee make weight for WBC middleweight title bout

Unbeaten middleweight beltholder Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. and once-beaten southpaw Andy Lee made weight for their WBC title bout that takes place at the Sun Bowl in El Paso, Texas, on Saturday.

Chavez, who will attempt to defend his WBC belt in the HBO-televised main event of a Top Rank promotion, weighed 159 pounds. Lee, who is fighting for his first major world title, weighed in at 159.25 pounds.

Chavez-Lee begins at 11:00 p.m. PT/ET after the 10:00 p.m. PT/ET rebroadcast of the Manny Pacquiao-Tim Bradley fight.
