Dunkin signs Vlasov

Manager Cameron Dunkin has announced the signing of super middleweight Maxim Vlasov, a 25-year-old from Samara, Russia.

“Cameron Dunkin is my official boxing manager and he represents all my interests as professional boxer. Cameron Dunkin possessed unique knowledge, intense experience, has very well-deserved respect in sports and media circles, and I’m so proud to work with him,” stated Vlasov.

“I sincerely welcome our partnership, and believe it would be long-term, honest and mutually beneficiary for both of us…Now, with Cameron Dunkin on my side, I can finally do what I do best under the supervision of my permanent trainer Viktor Petrochenko — fully concentrate on my sports training.”

Vlasov (23-1, 12 knockouts) has won four straight fights since falling by unanimous decision in February of last year to Isaac Chilemba (19-1-1, 9 KOs), who is coming off a unanimous decision over Edison Miranda in February.

Vlasov joins Dunkin’s managerial stable that includes WBO junior featherweight titleholder Nonito Donaire, and unbeaten Tim Bradley, whose split-decision over Manny Pacquiao added the WBO welterweight belt to the WBO junior welterweight crown he already owned on June 9.

Dunkin also has former undisputed middleweight beltholder Kelly Pavlik, former lightweight titleholder Brandon Rios, unbeaten featherweight contender Mikey Garcia, junior middleweight  contender James Kirkland and undefeated welterweight prospect Jessie Vargas.
