Charlo co-featured on Ramos-Williams Fox Sports Net show

Undefeated welterweight Jermall Charlo, the twin brother of junior middleweight prospect Jermell Charlo, will be featured on the Fox Sports Net-televised card headlined by the Luis Ramos Jr.-Ricardo Williams fight on Saturday.

Charlo (9-0, 5 knockouts), a 22-year-old boxer-puncher from Houston, Texas, will fight once-beaten Edgar Perez (5-1, 3 KOs) in a scheduled eight-round junior middleweight bout that opens the Fox Sports Net/Fox Deportes broadcast. Perez, a Chicago-based native of Puerto Rico, is coming down from the middleweight division.

Charlo is looking to win his 10th pro bouts, only his second of 2012, and get on track to catching up with his brother Jermell, who is unbeaten in 19 pro bouts.

Rau’Shee Warren (1-0), the bantamweight representative on the 2012 U.S. Olympic team, will also be on the televised portion of the Golden Boy Promotions card at the Business Expo Center in Anaheim, Calif.

Light heavyweight prospect Thomas Williams Jr. (10-0, 7 KOs) and featherweight prospect Julian Ramirez (5-0, 4 KOs) are on the undercard in scheduled six-round bouts.
