Ramos-Williams weigh-in open to the public

The weigh-ins for Saturday’s Fox Sports Net-televised show headlined by the Luis Ramos Jr.-Ricardo Williams junior welterweight fight will take place today at 5:00 p.m. PT at Wilshire Home Depot Center (1675 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles, 90017).

Ramos (23-0, 10 knockouts), a 24-year-old prospect from Santa Ana, Calif., is looking to extend his unbeaten record and win his fourth bout of 2012. Williams (20-3, 10 KOs) is a 31-year-old 2000 Olympic silver medalist from Cincinnati who has won 11 of his last 12 bouts. The savvy southpaw figures to be the most difficult opponent, in terms of style, that Ramos has faced in his five-year pro career.

Undefeated prospects Jermall Charlo, of Houston, Texas, and East L.A.’s Julian Ramirez, as well as 2012 U.S. Olympian Rau’Shee Warren are on the Ramos-Williams undercard and will be at today’s weigh-in.

The Ramos-Williams headlined card takes place at the Business Expo Center in Anaheim, Calif., on Saturday. The Fox Sports Net/Fox Deportes broadcast begins at 7:00 p.m. PT.
