Unbeaten junior middleweight beltholders Saul Alvarez and Austin Trout will visit three Texas cities on a two-day press tour to announce their Showtime-televised WBC/WBA title unification bout set for April 20 at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.
On Wednesday, March 13, “Canelo” Alvarez, THE RING’s No. 2-rated junior middleweight, and “No Doubt” Trout, the magazine’s No. 3 154-pound contender, will be at the site of their anticipated showdown, the arena floor of Alamodome – 100 Montana St., San Antonio, 78205 – at 2:00 p.m. CT to meet the public and the media.
On Thursday, they will be in Houston inside the PlazAmericas Mall – Lower Level Stage Area, 7500 Bellaire Blvd., 77036 – at 11:00 a.m. CT.
Later that day, at 3:30 p.m. CT, Alvarez and Trout will be at the McAllen Convention Center – 700 Convention Center Blvd., 78501.
Tickets for “Canelo vs. Trout” go on sale Wednesday, March 13, and are priced at $300, $150, $100, $50, $25 and $10, plus applicable taxes, fees and services charges.
