The Amir Khan-Julio Diaz card featured some early knockouts.
Deontay Wilder stopped 41-year-old Audley Harrison only 1:10 into their heavyweight bout. Wilder (28-0, 28 knockouts) hurt Harrison (31-7, 23 KOs) with a right and then knocked him to his knees with a subsequent flurry. Harrison was able to get up but the ref, convinced he couldn’t go on, stopped the fight.
And British Olympian Anthony Ogogo, making his pro debut, knocked out Kieron Gray (5-14-1, 1 KO) with a single straight right at 2:00 of the second round of a schedule six-round middleweight bout. Gray got up but couldn’t continue.
